For more context on our Virtual Research and Networking Reception, watch the 2021 reception here held during the 2021 Sadie Collective Conference season.
Join us as we highlight and celebrate the research of our Black women members and provide allies with the information needed to best support Black and Brown women in economics and related fields. In accordance with our Fourth Annual 2022 Sadie T.M. Alexander Conference theme of “Accountability and Community,” we will discuss how to hold educational institutions and corporations accountable for the progression of economic scholars who identify at the intersections of race and gender. We will also dive into what it means to be an ally of The Sadie Collective and announce the 2021-2022 Allies of the Year selection process to be distributed in February 2022 at the Brookings Institution.
Tiffany N. Ford, a Postdoctoral Fellow with The Brookings Institution, will moderate the panel, “Let’s Talk: Innovating the Education of Economics,” to be discussed by panelists whom all work in the field of economics and education across the pipeline and pathway. We will also dive into what it means to be an ally of The Sadie Collective and announce the 2021-2022 Allies of the Year selection process to be distributed in February 2022 at the Brookings Institution.
