How does the Sadie Collective define Black women?

 

“Black” is inclusive of the entire African diaspora. Individuals may identify as Black, African American, African, Caribbean or bi/multiracial. Our intention in using the term “women” is to be inclusive of cis women, non-binary people, and those who are otherwise marginalized, whose experiences are aligned with femininity.

The annual conference is typically scheduled for the third week of February of each year in Washington, D.C.

The Sadie Collective is a registered 501c(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible. Previous donations are retroactively tax-deductible now that The Sadie Collective has received 501c(3) status from the IRS.
