How does the Sadie Collective define Black women?
“Black” is inclusive of the entire African diaspora. Individuals may identify as Black, African American, African, Caribbean or bi/multiracial. Our intention in using the term “women” is to be inclusive of cis women, non-binary people, and those who are otherwise marginalized, whose experiences are aligned with femininity.
